Getting a GED

 

What is the GED?

The GED is the equivalent of a high school diploma for people who did not finish high school. The letters "GED" stand for General Education Development or Graduate Equivalency Diploma, depending on where you live. However, the purpose of the GED is the same everywhere. In order to get a GED, you have to take and pass the GED test. Here is help to get you started:

I am 20 years old turning 21 this September with no high school diploma. I wanted to get my GED to get a job and help support my two little boy's.

My goal is to get my high-school diploma and continue my education After I get my high-school diploma I'm going back to school My major will be nursing health care assistants and i will be working a part-time job so I can save money while I'm going to school

i would really like to know what i have to do to get my G.E.D. and what programs are there to benefit me, im 20 years old, expecting a baby with no job, i really would love to get my life together. unfortunately im going through this alone, im single i want to prove to the world and myself that i can make something out of myself.

I want to find out when and where I can take a G.E.D test in the city of new orleans,Im a current student and I feel like im not getting anywhere with my g.e.d.I been taking this test for too long and still haven't got to a higher enough grade level to move foward to take the practice test or even the real g.e.d test.I want to give it try to at least see what it look like,and try to take the practice g.e.d. test

The reason that I need my GED is not cause I didn't finish high school but I graduated with a certificate of completion from special education and i wanna be able to do for my sons now and in the future

hi....i have being trying to earn my GED for so long and i can,t..i took the test fourtime now and i still didn't pass it....i missed the 2250 by 40points...and now i am still thinking of taking it again and i really need help.my problem is basically on understanding what i read...grammers and social studies..i need help plz...i need this GED to further more of my education...i am to go study EMT then an accountant...i need this GED so badly ..and i also pray by God grace i am going to make it this time around.

Hi, I really needed to get GED within 6 months. The GED is the main thing for my educational life. Right now I'm taking writing, reading and Grammar at Baptist University of the Americas in San Antonio, tx. I want to do also GED at the same time. I really want to do with you if free. hi i reallly like the site..i'm here to brush up on my math. I took the test and failed by 1 point..i took it again and failed by 2!..the test isn't really that hard i just struggle with math and need a little more time than most people when i study it...pray for me yall lol:) -Shaina

finished 8th grade and had problems adjusting to new school standards young an thought i knew it all ,trying for ged to get enrolled in clooage for hvac traing have spoken with colege adminastration adn in formed of ged nacesaty am currently on unempoyment dew to lack of work trying to make best off situation and better my skill levals and income after roping out in 9th did inrole in akron adult vocational skils for auto body repair finisrd but with no certifacate scholl closed before final test and could not get a job in that feild do to lack of exsperience

i wou;ld like to get my ged i would have graduated in 2004 but i dropped out 3 or 4 months before i graduated please help me so i can get a better jobs i have 4 kids to tamke care of thank so much.
